CHILD PROTECTION + CODE OF BEHAVIOUR 

Young people thrive in safe surroundings. We’re committed to ensuring that Scouting is both enjoyable and safe for everyone who takes part, along with providing parents with peace of mind. Please read the Scout Association’s Safeguarding + Safety Policies on how we safeguard the welfare of all members. All volunteers who help to run our activities give their time freely to help young people enjoy Scouting.

ADULT LEARNING

Getting Started Mandatory Online Leaning:

All Adult Leaders and Section Assistant Appointments must complete Numbers 1 to 5 ASAP once you have completed your DBS and start helping

1. Module 1 Essential Information   (Approx 1 Hour)

2. Safety: (Approx 50 Mins - 1 Hour)      

3. Safeguarding: (Approx 50 Mins - 1 Hour)

4. GDPR:  (Approx 35 - 40 Minutes)

5. Module 3 Tools for the Role (Group)  (Approx 40 - 45 Minutes)

Numbers 2 + 3 must be renewed every 3 Years

If you are on our Group Executive Committee please complete Number 6

6. Trustee Introduction *: (Exec Members) (Approx 30 - 40 Minutes)
